Scouting Region Delfland

Since the 70s of the last century, the complex has been in use by Scouting Delfland.
The Kruithuis Scout Centre Foundation is responsible for the operation and maintenance.
Scouting Region Delfland supports local scouting units in the municipalities of Bleiswijk, Delft, Midden-Delfland, Pijnacker-Nootdorp and Zoetermeer. The region is active in the field of training and organising activities. (website Scouting Region Delfland, Dutch)

Scouting Willem de Zwijger Delft

Scouting Willem de Zwijger is a sea scouting unit that permanently rents one of the gunpowder towers. Sometimes you can find some of their boats in the pond surrounding the towers. Scouting Willem de Zwijger is very open to International meetings with other Scouts. Student tribe De Delftsche Zwervers was officially founded in 1920 and is therefore one of the oldest student scouting associations in the world. At the moment we are located in the rear gunpowder tower of the gunpowder house complex where we meet every Thursday. At 18:00 we first eat a nice meal after which we focus on a nice evening program, ranging from crafting to canoeing through the city center and of course we often light a campfire.
